Hayley Byfield is Chief Wild Child and festival founder and a London based mum.


Hayleys career spans the world of education and the world of theatre and venue management. As a practitioner, Hayley has delivered hundreds of workshops in schools bringing the curriculum to life by engaging children of all abilities through the arts. Hayley also worked on the Arts Council Englands Creative Partnerships programme developing exciting new projects between artists and schools. Hayley was a Creative Learning Producer and Youth Theatre Director at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford and a venue duty manager at The Dugdale Centre, Enfield and Rich Mix, London.


Hayley is also a co-founder of  Skewbald Theatre a not for profit company making exciting theatre and arts events for children and families since 2010.  For Skewbald Theatre Hayley has produced child-focused work at theatres, arts centres and festivals across the UK as well as The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Skewbald Theatre most recently produced an adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's children's book 'Mimi and the Mountain Dragon' which is currently touring theatres across the UK www.skewbaldtheatre.com


Hayley is delighted to be collaborating on the Wild Child Festival with many of the amazing artists and organizations she has met over the years as well as meeting exciting new innovators providing groundbreaking arts and education activities for children and families. 





Hannah is music programmer for the Harmony Hideaway and manages the festivals sustainability objectives.  She has worked for over 15 years in both charitable and corporate sectors as a passionate advocate for people and the environment.


Hannah has produced content for festivals including Lake of Stars, HighTide Festival, Barbican Walthamstow Garden Party and been part of keeping Glastonbury, The Big Chill and Shamabla festivals planet friendly. She sits on the board of the Barbican's Idea’s Kitchen. Hannah writes, creates, and produces music and theatre events for families in London where she lives with her husband and their three children.  


Julia is our Wellness Chieftain leading our Wellness Warren.  Julia spent 13 years as a primary school teacher and head of early years before founding Seedlings Well-being. Julia is a Baby and Children’s Yoga instructor and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and M.A Fine Art. 


Laura Hyde is our craft Chieftain leading the Crafty Den. Laura is creator of Children's brand IGOR and Me and is an illustrator and forest school practitioner and combines these skills in creating unique arty parties & creative craft workshops for children.
